Touch De Clercq is the founder and creative mind of SUNA, a line of handcrafted room dividers and wall frames. Each piece in the SUNA collection is unique, designed to enhance interiors of all sizes.
In 1993, after she graduated from Sint-Lucas School of Arts in Antwerp, Touch began her journey designing graphics for TV production companies, focusing on captivating TV stage visuals. By 1996, her innovative spirit led her to pioneer online graphical design, crafting websites for forward-thinking businesses at the dawn of the digital age.
In 2000, Touch joined the acclaimed Belgian agency Duval Guillaume, specialising in brand identities. From logo design to complete visual brand styling across print, digital, and experiential media, her work reflected a commitment to authenticity, creativity, and precision.
In 2007 Touch made the bold decision to leave the agency world and establish herself as an independent brand designer. Working directly with clients, Touch discovered she could better grasp their ideas, understand their visions and goals, translating them more efficiently into powerful, tailor-made designs.
Touch has crafted logos and graphical identities for a wide variety of clients, including ZAS (Ziekenhuis aan de Stroom), VRT Radio1, football club Beerschot, Jori furniture, Bongo, Prima Donna, Panenka TV, …
In parallel with her work for businesses, Touch sought another way to express her talent as a designer. In 2015, she began mastering the rare art of hand-painting on silk using resist technique, a traditional craft requiring meticulous skill and precision. Over the years, she has perfected her abilities in this intricate medium, blending her design expertise with the possibilities of this interesting textile.
